Prepositions

  • Along – a lo largo de
    • A power line ran along the road. – Un cable de la luz recorre a lo largo de la calle.
  • Along the edge – por el borde
    • We rode our bikes along the edge of the park. – Anduvimos en bici por el borde del parque.
  • Through – por, a través
    • We went through the town. – Fuimos por el pueblo.
    • The sun was shining through the clouds. – El sol brillaba a través de las nubes.

Phrasal Verbs

  • to end up somewhere – terminar en un lugar
    • We ended up at the entrance of Armentia Park. – Terminamos en la entrada del Parque de Armentia.
  • to hang out – pasar el tiempo
    • The snails were hanging out on the stem. – Los caracoles estaban pasandola en el tallo.
  • to run off – irse corriendo
    • The other two horses ran off when we arrived. – Los otros dos caballos se fueron corriendo cuando llegamos.

[..YouTube..] muy bueno el video!! felicidades estoy mejorando mi ingles con tus videos!! =) podrias hacer algun video d como dar direcciones o como llegar a ciertos lugares como por ejemplo “¿cuanto falta para llegar a San Diego? …oH faltan 2 calles, o faltan 3 cuadras, o faltan como 5 minutos para llegar…” espero q m hayas entendido gracias!! =)
