“How are you?” “Fine.” Así es como contestamos casi siempre. Pero qué tal si quieres expresar que no estás bien o que tienes hambre o lo que sea. En esta lección aprenderás expresarte mejor cuando alguien te pregunta, “How are you?”

Sentimientos y Emociones en Inglés

  • I’m happy. – Estoy feliz.
  • I’m sad. – Estoy triste.
  • I’m depressed. – Estoy deprimido.
  • I’m bored. – Estoy aburrido.
  • I’m tired. – Estoy cansado.
  • I’m angry/mad/furious. – Estoy enfadado/enojado/furioso.

Muchas veces el verbo TENER traduce como el verbo TO BE en inglés. Cuidado con eso. Para decir “Tengo miedo” no se dice “I have fear” sino “I am scared.”

  • I’m scared. – Tengo miedo.
  • I’m hungry. – Tengo hambre.
  • I’m thirsty. – Tengo sed.
  • I’m hot. – Tengo calor.
  • I’m cold. – Tengo frio.
  • I’m sleepy. – Tengo sueño.

  17. [..YouTube..] ¡Hola! gracias por tus palabras. Sí tienes razón, es uno de los problemas que todos tenemos cuando aprendemos otro idioma. La única solución es escuchar MUCHO, MUCHO inglés. Tanto como puedas y así acostumbrar el oído. Debes ver muchos videos, películas, series animadas, todo lo que puedas. Y, por supuesto, hablar con personas en inglés. Si practicas esto seguido, tu problema desaparecerá sin duda ¡Saludos!

[..YouTube..] Hola Jessica, me encanta tu método de enseñanza, me impresiona como contigo he aclarado dudas que me habían tomado eternidades y en muchos cursos de ingles no lograron aclarármelas… pero talves sera una pregunta boba, pero como logro notar la diferencia en la pronunciación de algunas palabras pues para mi se parecen muchísimo en la pronunciación angry y hungry, aunque se escriben diferente aun confundo su pronunciación y pues incluso he llegado a confundir entre ellas su significado.
